"But you will receive power when the Holy
Spirit comes on you; and you will be my
whitnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea
and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

- Jesus, Acts 1:8

Jesus also says, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matthew 28:18-20).

The Big Commission. What a fantastic promise Jesus gives us here to be with us always! Take a look at this word 'always'. Jesus not only says that He will be with us for all times but in all ways!

Mission means telling people about Christ, our Savior. There are several ways in doing this. In order to be able to fulfill this mission, we will receive the above mentioned power by the Holy Spirit. It is Jesus' Spirit, thus God's Spirit. Like this, He is with us in all times, all ways!

"Go and make disciples of all nations". This is what we are to do in our private lives the same as in big style. We know of big mission organizations that do great ministries in all areas. But there also are so many other ministries that have no lobby, yet the same important tasks to do.

Therefore, it's not about big missions in this website that are already known and have their platforms already, which is good and necessary. Here it's about those other ministries that are

not very much known by a vast public. Often, we are not even aware of them as they are doing their job so naturally or because they are so very far away. It is my concern to call the attention to some of those other ministries. I partly know the people behind them personally, so I am aware of their sincerity. The sub-link 'What we believe' (in Home) applies to us all even though we might have different denominational backgrounds.

By newsletters, they are known in their own closer circles, like their churches and friends. Beyond this, their recognition usually dwindles drastically. Sooner or later, the donation flow ebbs away. Like this, important and necessary ministries cannot proceed or even have to close down somethimes, leaving those in need behind.

This is why I'd like you to read about the ministry works mentioned here. We can all do something for them without falling into stress. First and formost, we can pray, stepping into the gap for them. We can tell friends about them, make them known in our own churches. We can forward this homepage to others. And last but not least, we can donate financial aid, if our situation allows it or if we feel God's desire for this on our hearts. So please don't take this article as a pressure as this is not at all our intention.
