What's it all about?

"I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life"

This Way of Truth that leads to true life, can contain different ways at the same time. No contrary ways, because there is only one way to salvation. But individual ways that Jesus walks with each one of us. He loves every person in such an inimitable manner that He gave the ultimate sacrifice to bring all who believe back into the fellowship with God. Therefore, every single one of these individual ways ultimately leads to eternal life of which Jesus is Lord and we as Christians can have our share of it already here in this life.

It is our task and privilege to share this truth with others in order that they, too, may be saved by Jesus and gain eternal life. There are many ways to share this good news of salvation, but the best way is God's way, because He has the best view of all things in life (Ephesians 2:10). He also knows the needs of everyone and how Christ should be presented to him. We may only plant seeds in someone's life through an act of kindness, but those seeds hopefully and prayerfully will be watered and nourished and perhaps someone will be born again because of the way we lived our lives.

Please don't think of this homepage as: "Poooh, yet another Christian homepage..."! What others have written in their own homepages reflects their own individual believes and way of thinking, from their perspectives and study. As Paul says in his 1st letter to the Corinthians in chapter 13 verse 9, nobody has a general overview, we all know only in part. Yet all those parts compliment each other. This what I find so exciting! So the reason for this particular homepage is only, and can't be anything else but to share issues with you that have become important to me. Thus, these are my own parts! I hope that they will bless you in some small way just like I myself have been blessed by the different parts of others. It is the goal of this website to bring glory to Jesus. I hope and pray that my share of understanding God's Word helps others in coming closer to Him!

How is this website built up?
On your left, you see some sign boards with links of main topics to click on. Originally, it was a wooden signpost standing in a coppice. As I wanted to maintain the atmosphere of it, I hope that sign boards and green leaves in this static part of the website give the impression of nature! When designing the other replaceable parts of the site, I tried to dovetail colors, pictures and style with the respective subject. This is sort of my presonal "note" in here, because I love doing those things!

Well, as said there are several main topics. JESUS explains why He is important for all of us. Why, for example, is it said that He is the way? How can a person be a WAY? Questions like this will be dealt with here. There are inspirational articles to ponder. You can watch great flash videos and as a highlight, the worldwide known JESUS-Film by which millions of people have come to faith already! Clicking on its link, you'll first get to a list of languages in which you can see the movie. Just have a look and get surprised by the vast quantity of languages! For some of them, I first had to do a google search as I had never heard of them before!

Under NEWS, you'll find the headlines and short discriptions of each new article uploaded here. But there are also more links, like to the Bible, to Christian TV programs, for example, or to worship songs and other interesting links, even a little fun-site got its place!

In MINISTRIES you'll learn about several international missionary ministries that are on my heart. Some of them I know personally. Because they are small, they need a special support and so I'm taking advantage of this platform introducing them. Click your way through their sublinks and listen to your heart - maybe God will speak to you. In any case I'm looking forward for them to get known a little bit and to find friends, supporters and sponsors.

In the READING ROOM, there is space for devotionals, testimonies and general topics on faith where all of you can take part in. If you have made a certain experience with Jesus for example you'd like to share, here is your platform! Also, if you want to share something about a special subject, you are welcoming to do so! Write to me sending your article here and I will contact you!

In CURRENT FAITH you'll find articles on Biblical tendencies in our daily life. There you will read much of what Jesus has foreseen: more and more revilement of our Christian Faith and its believers, but also the increase of the dwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Our PRAYER ROOM is working again! The provider has never answered codes, asking to any of us useres. So I decided to use a simple guestbook instead. I changed it a little bit and so out Prayer Room became a Prayer Garden! Check it out! I do hope that many of you will be using it again - I know it will take after such a long pause. But still...! Maybe we can even expand and have conference talks on yahoo messenger or Skype, thus praying together live!
