Who is writing here?

Well this is me, Birgit Barandica! I have one grown up son and was born in 1958, the best year ever!!

I am from Hamburg/Germany, but since March 20, 2006 living in Muehldorf upon Inn, about 80 km (~ 60 miles) east of Munich. For several years, I'm working as a translatoinge some American Christian books as well as some TV documentaries and other material.

I really did not pose for this photo, but doesn't it look like I am searching for the way? In reality, it was the sun blinding my eyes, but I think it fits in quite well with the theme of this website.
But seriously, October 1992 was when I became a Christian. This is the very best thing that could have ever happened in my life! I was searching for God

for a long time. And I mean a long time...I am sure I could have avoided certain unpleasant situations in my life, had I come to Jesus earlier, but God's timing is perfect and even today, He can use those unpleasant situations for His glory. Sometimes we are so rebellious and think we know it all, don't we? But God knows when time is right. As wonderful as it was to personally meet Jesus then, I found I was also embarressed to realize how I had so constantly ignored Him before. How awesome it is to have such a merciful God! He knows and understands our rebellion, our sin and guilt. Yet, He loves us so much that He immediately forgives us 100%, if we come to Him to receive His Son and His gift of salvation!
